Dashboards

Swiftscore gives every role a dashboard scoped to what they're responsible for — a district leader sees the whole district, a principal sees their school, and a teacher sees their own evaluations and goals. All of these dashboards are built from the same underlying surface, so the layout, tabs, and navigation feel consistent no matter where you're logged in — only the data and the level of detail change.

This article covers the dashboard feature set itself: what tabs and sections exist, what each one shows, and how filtering and navigation work. For a role-by-role walkthrough of exactly what you'll see, check out:

Dashboard Tiers

Your dashboard is automatically scoped based on your role:

• District dashboard — for district-level administrators. Shows data rolled up across every school in the district.
• School dashboard — for principals and school-level staff. Shows the same layout as the district dashboard, but scoped to a single school.
• Teacher dashboard — for teachers. Shows your own evaluations, goals, and schedule, with no visibility into other teachers or schools.

Because the district and school dashboards share the same underlying structure, anything you learn about navigating one transfers directly to the other — the only difference is whose data you're looking at.

Tabs

Your dashboard is organized into a small set of tabs. Which tabs you see depends on your role and your district's plan:

• Overview — your home base. Brings together goals, recent activity, your upcoming schedule, and an observation trend chart.
• Schools & Teachers — a grid view of every school (district tier) or every teacher (school tier) you have visibility into.
• Reports — a unified, filterable list of evaluations, professional development reports, improvement plans, and coaching conversations.

Whichever tabs are available to you, the dashboard always opens on the leftmost tab by default — this convention is consistent across the dashboard and other multi-tab pages in Swiftscore, so navigation feels predictable everywhere.

If your district is on the Core plan rather than Full, the Overview tab is hidden, and your dashboard opens directly on the next available tab instead.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab pulls together the information you're most likely to need at a glance:

• Goals — a clickable summary of in-progress goals, so you can jump straight into the details.
• Recent activity — your latest evaluations and conversations in one place.
• Upcoming schedule — your next few scheduled observations or conversations, capped to a manageable list so the card stays readable rather than turning into a long list.
• Observation trend chart — a chart of evaluation scores over time, with filters for date range and observation type, a compact/expanded toggle, and tooltips you can use to inspect individual points. This chart appears on every dashboard tier — district, school, and teacher — scoped to whatever level you're viewing.

Schools & Teachers Grid

On the district and school dashboards, the Schools & Teachers tab gives you a grid you can scan quickly:

• At the district tier, the grid shows your schools.
• At the school tier, the grid shows your teachers.

Each card in the grid links through to a more detailed view — clicking a school takes you into that school's dashboard, and clicking a teacher takes you into their individual evaluation history.

Reports Tab

The Reports tab is a single, unified place to find evaluation and coaching documentation, and it's available at every dashboard tier — district, school, teacher self-view, and an administrator's view into an individual teacher. It brings together:

• Evaluations and observations
• Improvement plans
• Professional development reports
• Coaching conversations

You can filter the list by teacher, which is especially useful at the district and school tiers where there's more to sort through.

Drilling Into a Teacher

Administrators and principals can drill into an individual teacher's record from the Schools & Teachers grid. This opens a dedicated view with its own Overview and Reports tabs — the same structure as the rest of the dashboard, just scoped to one person.

On this view, administrators and principals also see a coaching action items panel, which tracks follow-up items tied to that teacher's coaching conversations so nothing falls through the cracks between sessions.

Plan Differences (Core vs. Full)

Some dashboard sections depend on your district's plan:

• Full plan districts see the complete dashboard, including the Overview tab with goals, recent activity, and the observation trend chart.
• Core plan districts have the Overview tab hidden across the district, school, and teacher dashboards, since those Overview-only sections are part of the Full feature set. Core dashboards open directly on the next available tab (typically Schools & Teachers or Reports).

If your district upgrades or changes plans, your dashboard automatically reflects the change the next time you load it — no manual reconfiguration needed.
